This is pretty much how I explain that I got cancer. It's pretty accurate, except I rolled more than 3 nat 1s. My friend insists this means I'm due for a nat 20 but I'm not sure it works like that.

That is a rough deal... And I am very sorry you are going through that.
But, it's important to note, that many people are survivors of that kinda trouble. Why not you?

Maybe you wont get a Nat 20... Maybe you will. Maybe you just need to pass a DC15.

I think, if you keep rolling...
You may just get what you need to pass the checks.

Thanks for the kind words. Nothing to be sorry about, sometimes you just don't get the rolls. My life otherwise has been truly a gift and people have been super lovely to me since the diagnosis.

Stats wise I'm going to have to roll a Nat 20, the irony is that people with my stage/type of cancer have 1 in 20 chance of making it 5 years. So far I'm doing pretty well, but the odds are in my favor for very long.

Really though it's okay because I can make terrible jokes that I think are hilarious but they're just morbid. That right there is worth the price of admission. :D Love you guys.
