Maybe you haven't heard about it yet, but Magic: The Gathering is about to undergo a rules overhaul. Nothing too huge... but then again, nothing so minute you won't notice.
Here is an article explaining the rules changes in some detail, and explaining why the R&D team at Wizards thought it was necessary. In most cases I'll admit, I understand the changes. The legendary rule, seems to be the one drawing the most hate, and I honestly feel like it's the one that makes the most sense. Call me crazy, but with the advent of multiple blocks of timeshifting, spiralling, etc etc... I think it's safe to assume that somebody has come face to face with themselves.
Magic has undergone weirder changes in the past, and with much greater upheaval... (stackable damage comes to mind.) and yet, it exists today. Living and breathing, as well as it ever has.
