Hello ravenous fans of 1d4rounds. Zach speaking. I was able to purchase a laptop yesterday, effectively ensuring that I can access the internet at any time of day. Now on to better things.

Having effectively no idea what I should write about at this time, I've chosen instead to bring you news. Not journalistically, instead I will be simply linking you to, and making you aware of the presence of, news.

First up it's tabletop RPG news, and this one I'm excited about. Kobold Press has conscripted Ed Greenwood and Pathfinder creator Jason Bulmahn, among others, to produce a new book compatible with the Pathfinder RPG. It will contain many new variant magics, notable among these being blood magic; one of my personal favorite tropes of the genre. The ten thousand dollar goal has already been met and exceeded more than five times over, so you can expect many of the interesting stretch goals to be included as well. By all means, please check out the article on boingboing.net, or the Kickstarter itself over at Kickstarter.com.

Secondly, it's time for some good news for Xbox fans. Your Xbox One will not have to be online, there will be no 24 hour checks, and disk based games can be bought, sold, and traded freely. Honestly guys, this one was not a big deal for me. Xbox is trying to change the market, to make it more profitable, which by the way, is something that is going to happen. Sony took the easy move and decided to grab for market share. They waited on Microsoft to make an announcement and then when that very dangerous announcement had been made, they lept in and claimed moral superiority. Great business decision, but the honest truth is both these companies need to shift the way we do things if they are going to keep this money train a-rolling.

Anyway here with the good news is an article from The PA Report. Seriously folks, this is perhaps my favorite place for general gaming news, and I'm more than glad to share it. When it's funded by none other than Penny Arcade itself, you know it must be reputable.

Well that's it for today guys, thanks for playing!

I kinda want to start a kickstarter... We are broke as get the f*ck out right now... Imagine what we could do if we werent hindered by our meager existances and livelyhoods... I shiver at the thought.
